For all of you that have been asking about Winnie, my 1990 Winnebago Micro Warrior Toyota Camper, here’s a quick update on where she is and what I plan on renovating during the next couple months.
After that I’ll be taking her back on the road for some of my favorite flavor of minimalist living and travel!
I’ll make more videos to keep you updated on her progress. Thank you all for your interest!

How many miles on her ?
So I have a question about dimensions of the RV that I can't seem to find. I was curious on the length inside from the edge behind the front driver's seat to the rear of the RV? I love the RV and am interested in maybe getting one of these. Thanks
So I just came across your video. I know this will be old to you but it's new to me. I totally love what you did here. Your attitude rocks!!! I hope that as these videos continue onward you still have the joy for life 'and Winnie' that you have in this video. Best of luck to you and all that you do.
I love your freedom. Your life is a wonderful dream.
Enjoying the vids!
Hi Brittany, saw some of your videos. You are doing an awesome job !! I'm impressed!! Beautiful girl doing a beautiful job !!!! I am fixing up A 1998 RV and its becoming a challenge. I would love to help you with Winnie, even though it gets difficult sometimes, the final product is very rewarding. If you're ever near SC send me A "Hi" from your channel. If you ever need a co-pilot and an extra hand restoring Winnie; Have backpack/will travel!!! 🙂
It looks like it's going great! I'm so excited you're putting up these videos because I'm getting an RV soon to live in full time and it's giving me an idea of what it's like 🙂 thank you! Love you and your channel!

When u say the locks on the doors don't lockWhat do u mean?
That looks like dry wall .. Am I seeing things? I hope m wrong, but if thats dry wall , take it down before you go any further.. It cant handle the vibration of the road

Hi Brittany
I have an 87 New Horizon Motorhome and a few of the outside compartment locks are in rough shape too.
My Fix: Just find a couple of small screws…. screw one in on each side of the compartment door near the bottom and then stretch a small bungee cord from one screw to the other.
Hope that works for you like it did for me !
Hey there I have to ask how much have you spent on renovations? Please rely becuz they're selling me a similar beat up rv to fix up
Winnie's looking good. You're doing a great job !
Cool, just found your channel and subscribed because I really like the fact that you are positive and enjoying life. Hopefully some of it will rub off on the rest of the world….thanks…
hey brittany, just wanted to say i'm still checking in on your stuff, i've set up gpodder so i can grab certain channels to my machine when i have wifi (i'm trying to live offgrid so badly but cellular connectivity costs a lot) i'm watching this renovation with interest. i've just started messing with wifi and aerials for increased connectivity! 🙂
+scott boyd I totally understand your concern about temporary repairs. I like being creative, but doing quality work. This one was done by a friend of mine, who rocked it. The repair will outlast the tail pipe for sure. He show's how he did it here: https://youtu.be/XW2ZTz8vf3Q
Thanks again for reaching out and for your caring.
Thanks for having me do the repair Britt! I love working on the vehicle. Keep up the vids. You are an inspiration!
It's so spacious for such a small truck
So inspiring, Brittany! I've been doing research and I'm going to start prepping to start living in my minivan in a few months.
Not wanting to be a buzz kill but repairs like you are having done on the exhaust system are temp at best, and if its typical of the rest of your repairs. I hope you dont travel to far from home.Or at least travel with a mechanical type person if your not already one..being stranded or paying thru the nose for repairs is not fun at all , Good luck and travel safe
I was so excited to see a Winnie update in my feed! I agree with taking a break from the cold. Can't wait to see how the renovations come along. I hope you plan on taking us along with you on your travels. You are living the dream sister! Hugs from SE Mass.
Yayz for an update :o)
I'll be thrilled to follow these updates, it's a dream of mine to get an RV someday and just take off.
