Thanks, it is a real tight fit to get a hold of the filter if you have big hands! VW advises to remove oil filter before extracting oil as a valve in oil filter assembly dumps oil from filter to sump.
the real point would be seeing how to PROPERLY DRAIN IT from a warmed-up engine etc for a real oil shift… All these panels and covers make this a lot more complicated than it used to be, but that's unf not shown here.
nice and clear, shame it did not work for me , i have the same extracter, but only took out 3l of oil, i was on flat ground , maybe something to do with it being a t5 2.5 tdi 04 plate.

Didn't specify what socket is required for the housing. Shame.
Why can I not find the size socket that I need.. and why is it so hard to find any info on the 2l.. like what size socket I need..
