So this is the first vlog as I start the sprinter van build to camper van conversion. It certainly wont be a how to series of videos, just general updates on whats been done and how we did it. So looking forward to joining the van life community out on the road in the near future.

Sprinter camper van conversion – vlog 1

Just a couple thoughts crossed my mind : If you figure the job will be an hour, it is more likely to be three. You have done some planning but, continue to think things through as you build, you might think of an easier way to do something. Also, I noticed CC on his van conversion is using a normal household propane tank . I say household because it is for the back yard BQ or the canal boat. When I did my bus here in the states , I had a neighbor who was doing his second. Both were flat front , rear engine and they were gasoline engines. We researched using propane as a rule for the engines / cooking and heating. Because of this , we researched , Propane Motor Fuel Tanks . I know they come in many sizes and might be a little larger but, they were back than designed to be run over and not have a problem . Just added safety going down the highway and a little more food for thought. All the best , Hal
It is great to see you up and around. It looks as though the new hip is working well. You also have a new endeavor . It reminds me of the bus I converted. It also sounds as though you have planned it out well . I look forward to seeing your progress. Again, happy to see you up and moving easier. All the best , Hal
What a great van. Looking forward to watching you convert it….Glad to see you are back!!
It’s all good here. I’m heading back to the boat next Monday for a couple of weeks. I can’t stay longer as I have to collect my new puppy on the 7th July. I now have 3 dogs so I’m wondering if a 45 foot boat is going to be big enough! Still looking at campervans online and like the look of the Sussex Campervans, I just need to sell my London flat and then I can make a decision. Great to see you’re now well enough to push on with your new project.
Looking good. Hope your hip goes well, had my firstt one done about 9 years ago and the other one is being done next month. So for the first few weeks it's all YouTube watching so get going on the van so I have something to watch lol.
