public showers , have flip flops !! then strange things not go from floor to feet.. I would have to clean it before I used it hahahahahaha have a ball n be safe doing it !
Nice simple and clear informative video. Funny too! Thanks Chrome
baby wipes are the best when you need to stay clean when traveling
Wutz up bro I can smell your stench all the way over here in East Oakland California….
Just common sense. Not a big problem. Enjoy your day Chrome
HAHHAHAHHAHA!
Also if there is no shower and you find a public bathroom that is just a bathroom with a door you can lock. You can take a wash cloth, your soap etc., into the bathroom and use the sink. 🙂
Looks like a pretty big bath tub right behind you.
Wish I could but life is so hard at the minute but I will do going bk to work in 2 weeks going to save save and save until I can get a van then I'm gone ☺will let ya know how it goes
When was the last time you had a girlfriend
I don't give a fuck if I stink like shit!
In the U.S., travelers can shower at truck stops, which are now called Travel Centers. They still cater to truckers, but offer RV services too. They're not cheap. The going rate across the 48 States at major brand travel centers (Petro, T/A, Loves, Flying J, and Pilot) is $12.00 USD. Mom & Pop truck stops (not a nationwide chain) tend to cost less, between $5 and $7 USD.
Boat marinas aren't a bad idea either. Most here lock their shower building, and only folks with boats slipped there have a key. But advising the marina office your willingness to pay (usually $5-10) will get them to unlock it for you.
Some marinas here have showers that are open to the public, but run on a timer box. They're often not as clean as the locked ones, and the timer box (similar to a parking meter) runs on quarters. Bring at least $5.00 worth, and more if you want to soak them old bones in the hot water for a while.
Myself, I currently work at a steel mill, loading, securing, and tarping product loaded on flatbed tractor-trailers. I get very dirty, and sweat my ass off. However I still stay clean, without paying $60.00 USD weekly at the Love's (I-40 x87) or the Pilot (I-40 x85) in Jackson, Tennessee at $12 each.
As most truckers will tell you, the trick to staying clean without showering is "baby wipes." They're not very expensive, and can be found almost anywhere that diapers are sold. Walmart is everywhere, and they have quite the assortment.
I live in my '87 Dodge B-250 3/4 ton flattop cargo van 5-6 days each week. I shower before leaving home in the foothills of the Ozark Mountains Sunday afternoon, then drive 5 hours to work, and sleep when I get there.
Monday and Wednesday I take a baby wipe bath, cleaning from head to toe, leaving no crack unwiped. Tuesday and Thursday are travel center days, at $12 each. Friday, I say to hell with it, and shower when I get back home Saturday morning. Thus bathing only costs me $24 per week.
There's no excuse for not staying clean. To stink is human. But to stay that way is downright nasty. Keep yourselves clean, Weirdos! It's not as costly as some of you might think.
Get a pack of fresh wipes. They're cheap and can get a big three pack for $5 that will last a whole month. They are in the baby section of Walmart, Target and so on. Use everyday in between showers. Usually 10 wipes will be enough to clean yourself with and not smell like ass. It really is a choice to smell that bad since it's so cheap to keep yourself clean.
Keeping yourself clean and going to the bathroom is easy and the least of my concerns as I prepare my life to go full time on the road. There are lots of ways to take a shower/stay clean.
Hilarious!
Disco was telling us the van gets stinky at times & he doesn't why,
