how did you dry it after this wash (if it's wintertime) ???
That would rust the pack and play … SMH
I used this method and ended up with brown stains on the edges of pad because the boards are wood. I ended up ripping out the stitching on one edge and removed the boards. Some of them were damaged. I washed the cover separately and them the foam pads. Now I will have to sew them back together.
Today, I realized an additional problem. When I tipped the pack n play sideways rusty water ran out staining the netting again. These were old pack n plays so I don't know if the design has changed so that water won't collect and stand in the middle part.
I wonder if the gross water is in part because of the wood boards.
I did this as well from a different tutorial I found on Google, but used liquid laundry detergent instead. I had it drying outside for a few hours but when I went to take it inside, it had dried spotty. Does anyone know how to clean that?
Wouldn't. the padded wood thing get damaged?
I have come to realize that the base mattress part of the PNP is made from particle board and probably shouldn't be submerged. How did the mattress part fair now that it's been about 4 months since this video?
