Lost Code Fix Factory Default Reset Code Schlage BE 375 Deadbolt Lock Lost Combination FAQ

Hi Wayne, Thanks very much for your video. I have a second hand lock FE595 and someone changed the 6 digit setting which stopped me adding a new access code. I followed your instructions and I reset the lock back to the access code that was listed on the lock by the factory. Exactly as you said it would. Thanks for this video you are my hero for today. All the best, Gary
What if the sticker is just a barcode
Bless you I've been trying to reprogram my lock for 45 min and the regular instructions were not working
I have a Schlage FE595. Im missing the Key, and the last 2 digits of the programming code.I have the serial number. How can I easily get the programming code?
Hi I have a kwikset 909. Any Idea on how to hard reset all saved codes?
the lock thinks i am trying to enter my code to unlock the door when I am trying to enter the programming code, thus giving me an error over and over. what do i do?
What happens if you don't have the factory code and lost your manual? How do you change the code?
so, im concerned. i made sure the deadbolt lever was pointing up and that the dead bolt was retracted. its not hard to install. but omg, seriously, what the heck am i doing wrong on this thing? please
i know i inserted it correctly, but i cant stop this from happening. any suggestions?
hi there. i have the schlage BE375. this past weekend i noticed that it wasnt working correctly. so i dismanteled it, and one of the wires to the battery were broken. so i fixed that, but everything back on the door. and for whatever reason, i can press the Schlage name on the key pad and it will lock and unlock the deadbolt…i cant figure out what i am doing wrong. im so frustrated.
What if there no sticker on it ?
Awesome!!! Thanks for sharing.
i have an old averen programmable dead bolt. there are no reset or programming buttons. I changed the batteries and when I push the lock button on the outside, it locks, but I dont know what the code is. I have taken apart the inside cover and saw the little printed circuit board, but again, there are no reset buttons or program buttons in there. I went to averen's website and when I click the "Support" button, there is nothing there. I called the phone number and some old guy answered the phone and took a message. i have not heard back from them. WTF? lol
I bought a new home, the program manual wasn't provided, and there is no sticker with a programming code inside the back.
Do I need to buy a new lock? Or, is there another way to factory reset without the program code?
thank u
If you have lost your 6 digit recovery code use the following procedure, you will need a phillips screwdriver and a credit card.
1. remove the 2 screws securing the inside cover
2. remove the 2 screws securing the outside unit to the inner locking piece
3. throw everything in the garbage
4. drive to your nearest home depot or some other store.
5. buy another one
Hi there,
Do you by any chance know if its possible to open one without the master password? I have a room that has no other way to go in and i can't open the door. Hope you can help.
Thanks.
Many thanks. Helped me out of a tough spot.

what if the previous owners were nice enough to remove that sticker on the inside is there anything you can do find out the programming code or just that one.
Pls advise how to set up my own Pin code after success used ' 6841' ?
Is the factory code always set as ' 6841 ' ?
Wayne – Great Video! This is exactly what I needed. Moved into a new house and I have the User codes but needed the PC code. You mentioned it but did not show where inside the cover. You might want to include this next time. Thanks for your help.
Exactly what I needed. Thank you for your help with my Schlage Lock.
