Do you also recommend a sway bar? I have a 2016 Silverado 3500 HD single rear. TC weighs 2,800 and truck weighs 7,200. So I am at my 10k "capacity ". Thanks
After traveling the country a hell of a lot. I recently fell in love with the idea of a truck camper instead of a big ol class c or campervan. I want the 4×4. Well, i'm in the market about to start looking for a truck camper and a truck. I know nothing right now about them. Well, not a lot. Thanks for the video. I've been learning a lot in my research. One thing I have learned, is that unless you've got 500k for an earth roamer. The truck camper is the 4×4 living way to go.
Whats the main reason to air bags? what would happen if you dont have any installed? Im honestly thinking about investing in a truck and truck camper with in the next year and im attempting to learn everything i needed like what truck and rigs you would need and how everything works.
Nice setup! One comment concerning the Happy Jack style tie downs. Those being the ones you referenced that mount to the bumper and bed. I have been using the Happy Jacks for about 9 years now with absolutely no issues. My current camper weighs in at 4K LBS. i have done my share of off road driving with the camper. I think either method of tie downs have their advantages and disadvantages. Keep on putting out the great videos!
