This is a collection of photos put together in a short video showing how to make and install simple insulating walls beneath the fifth wheel camper. This project was a huge help with keeping warm during the winter months, while living off-grid near Hanover, Colorado (it was also a great additional storage area to keep items out of the weather). It also added a cleaner look to the camper by hiding the tools, gardening items, etc that were stored below.
There were very few videos available at the time, so I wanted to share, in hopes of helping someone else looking for ideas… Thanks for watching!
Update: after 1 full year in Colorado, everything stood up to the weather just fine. After another year of usage in Illinois, the thinner plywood started to warp a little from moisture/humidity (but still works great). So definitely paint all sides of all the wood if you want it to last!

What about the top space between the RV and the plywood? At 2:36 I see the foam to protect the RV but the top is exposed. Please advise and thankyou.
Hello Colorado…thanks for the tip, we are doing this too. Good information for us in Colorado
