Great ideas, sir. Thank you for the video. I just acquired a travel trailer and am looking to do some similar mods. In addition, I want to add belly insulation and other mods for full-on winter camping.
Of course, there's no such thing as a digital antenna. An antenna is an antenna. An antenna receives a broadcasted signal and feeds it to the television (or amplifier for that television). It's only at that point, the television, that the signal composition, digital or analog, matters. An old analog television cannot process digital data.
Try to install the batteries inside the camper and go with AGM deepcycle batteries which make them save inside since they are totally sealed and don't produce gasses. Having the batteries outside takes the life away with the temperature changes with the seasons. Keep in mind charging any deepcycle battery on very cold days outside creates salts on the plates inside. So having the batteries inside you are better off. Try to keep the battery cables as short as possible since the cables have resistance and you will lose power. Go with the biggest cables your budget allows. The lower the gauge number for the cable the thicker the cable.
Great mods Richard! At some point, I would like to change out my single 12v deep cycle for two 6v golf cart batteries wired together to make 12 volts. I'm told that you get much more reserve and that the golf cart batteries are a much better solution for deep cycle use.
I've thought of doing something similar to mount the batteries on the front and appreciated your detailed post. Did you notice any change in handling with the weight on the front? Did you measure the change in tongue weight?
Sloppy jobs
Are you not worried about those plastic boxes shattering while on the road. More batteries is on my list , good job
This video is hard to watch with the sound constantly clicking in and out……great ideas though

Good thing you didn't paint the board on the trailer. Were you a painter before .
your battery monitor wires, could they not have gone to the inverter spot. will the panels go on the roof
If nothing else, you sealed your metal garage door.
Blue light attracts bugs. Try amber colored LEDs instead.
