We are on a journey of buying land, build an off-grid home and starting a homestead. We were contemplating where to live while building our home and after some discussion settled on a trailer.

MADDDDDDDDDDDDDDDD THROWBACKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKK LOVE YOU GUYS
It's incredible that we found your channel! Your information, insight and experience is invaluable to us! We are probably about 3 years behind you, but are selling most everything, buying an RV and moving our family of 5 cross country to also live as off grid as possible. We are even going to document as much as we can on our Youtube channel. You guys are great. So thankful we can learn from you!
6 months……. more like 3 years….. good call over an apartment
Ummmmm, thinking you best give up before you start.
You guys are smart young people that actually think out what you are going to do. What really is unique is that you both agree on the underlying fundamental way you want to live. It's not easy when when your partner doesn't really want the same things you do. Because of this you will do good. As for me, I started off good but got a hateful job that I worked at for 30 years. That's what happens when you don't think things through. I have a channel of my new life. Hopefully I confined contentment at my old age.
Hope no one watches you again!
You can get a lot of shed for your price range
She is the first woman ive ever seen who thinks that way.your husband is lucky son of a gun.
Just found you guys from a comment that Cody made on Wranglerstar about you guys…Loving the videos that I've seen so far and I really like and appreciate the realness of them! I am also really digging that your trailer is called the Fun Finder!! LOL
My little trailer I'm living in on my land is laid out almost identical to yours. I went into town to get a bite with a friend, and the previous owners were unhooking from it putting it up for sale on the highway. I stopped and talked to them. Looked at the trailer, went to the bank and withdrew the cash money and took my trailer home. I've been living in it on my land for 4 years now. Holding off on building a house till my land is laid off.
I've been watching most of your videos and admire what you are doing in the building of your home. I'm totally agreeing with you guys about the debt thing re: nice cars, clothes, etc… It's not worth it. I got a '08 nice van that suited our purposes for my late wife who was wheelchair bound. I got tired of having rundown vans that didn't last very long 5 or 6 total. People who congratulate you guys on getting a nice car, house, whatever are obsessed with THINGS that this world has to offer instead of what really matters in a person's life.
Watching you guys milling the wood from scratch is quite a fun experience. I've always enjoyed this type of action. Can't wait to see more. The last one I saw was the rafters/eves screwed into place. Timber Framing is one of the best and more secure way to build in my opinion.
I own my joint land.
Aww, when are you guys having a baby Jesse?
well done to both of you, never give up is your message.
My wife turned me onto your video blog if that's what it's called. We did the same thing twice with trailers as we are building our house. Our first one was $350.00 and then we sold it for the same as we purchased it for after using it for a year or so and then we purchased one for $3,500.00 and think we can get that price out of it when we sell it this summer but we didn't take care of it all that well. If I had to do it all over again, we both agree that a shed would have been better to live due to the thin insulation and condensation that forms inside the trailer. We purchased our land debt free that came with a water well, septic tank and leach field and a rotted 5,342 sq ft geodesic dome home that was never finished.
How did this ugly guy get a HOT wife?
I just found your channel about 4 months ago, and am enjoying it. I did go back and watch some of your first ones. This one kind of cracked me up, as you were hoping to only need the trailer about 6 months or so….. two years later, and I think you are still living in it. haha Good thing you guys get along really well! 🙂
I know this video was shot a while ago, but I want to congratulate you on your decision, the world is really the right way up for you both.
Bc I'm a very sporadic web surfer I seem to be a Johnny come lately. Anyway, I've watched a couple of your videos. I find myself admiring the two of you.
Thanks for sharing your experiences.
She's pretty, blah blah, yes. But where did you find a woman that would even consider this. My wife things roughing it is running out of towels at the Hilton. Dude you are one kind of lucky.
you know those poles some trailers have?….. Well, it took us a while to realize those are for holding up the fold-out bed! It took a few clunking sounds in the night to realize those poles need to be there to hold the weight. yep… almost ended up on the ground and exposed to bears.
VERY NICE….GOOD LUCK WITH WHAT EVER YOU DO ….
Why didn’t you guys build a shipping tank house.
