lightweight Camping Cook Set Wild Camping Backpacking, Hiking

Finally got a few lightweight items together for longer hikes, got the tiny gas stove and titanium pot but I'm not trading my foldacup for titanium, they're too handy. As regards sporks, had more trouble loosing them than melting or snapping, so two plastic ones for longer trips weigh nothing and it doesn't matter if one goes walkabout. Been in weather where a more conventional wind screen is battered and barely works, does that titanium one hold up?
I'm sure you're aware of this but you need to be careful using wind screens with pressurized gas canisters. They can honestly explode if they get too hot from little to no heat escaping with that shield wrapped so closely around it & a pot on top. Those wind screens are mostly for alcohol stoves or meant to loosely surround a canister stove with at least the one side to the leeward open. Cheers.
Nice lightweight set-up. Thank you for sharing it with us, Stuart
happy new year hope you stay hungry

very nice and light kit. I'm using the Snow Peaks Mini Solo (titanium) and love it for backpacking.
hi mate I uploaded my new video today my final camp of the year and my challenge 1 camp a month for 12 months
Marvellous Stuart and does the job cooking on both gas and in the fire, on coals etc. I will not touch aluminium cookware and like my stainless crusader etc but will have to seriously consider titanium for 2017. Thank you for sharing. Happy new year to you and your family. Paul 🙂
Happy New Year!
Cup pan and pot . don't need more . I have a kit with those 3 items . but stainless so not light weight. I call it extra training when I carry it 🙂
une très bonne année 2017 de Belgium Bruxelles
Beautiful country.. Keep making your videos.. love it!
Good video Stu. I now use the Alpkit 900ml pot (after seeing your vid). Good bit of kit. 25g for the stove? I'll have to take a ganders at one of these now….
I got one of these cook pot sets too! I saw it on Heath Sheroder page a couple months back.
