AIRSTREAM SHELL REMOVAL // Part Two
Today we successfully lift the Airstream shell off of the frame. This is part of the vintage trailer renovation. We’ll walk you through the way we do it – but, we’re not experts and don’t advise tying it this way 🙂

Really appreciate the video! Your method helped me figure out mine. We just lifted our shell this past weekend! It worked pretty good, the wind just made things a little dicey! We posted a video about it, its kinda crazy. Love your content, keep up the good work!
Really GREAT!….. I am doing an 1953 spartan manor right now and I really needed to see this!. If you need my address for more experience! Well anyway great and Thanks!
Hey guys, I put a link to a remodel in the comments on your floor plan video.
Here it is again. https://youtu.be/Q1t_Tq6RQ6c
YAY!!! Awesome job guys, we went on vacation and came back to the shell off! POW!
Hi Kyle and Olivia and Tom and Kate Great to see Friends helping get this done when your all through Friends become Framily can't wait to see it finished thank you Tom and Kate for helping Kyle and Olivia
Might not hurt to throw a rope or two over the shell to help secure against the springtime storms that pass through.
More great teamwork!!
Couldn’t take my eyes off this! Riveting… pun entirely intended!
Great job guys Kyle, Olivia, Tom & Kate . Here's my dime guys (i know) It may seems to be a good ideal at the time to use your foot to stabilize a piece of wood that is MOVING because a POWER SAW is cutting into it (i. e. 3:00 and more). Don't do that again. Lazy thinking, short cuts
and tiredness invites the "God of Accident" to show up. Love you guys to much not to tell you.
oh you guys ! that's massive accomplishment . great job.
How much money was spent on 2×4's etc.. and how long did it take you from start to finish?
good job allllllllllllll 4 brains.
Nice job guys!
Do you already have a waiting list of people who want to buy your old trailer? I'm sure you do, but I'm a student in Tuscaloosa and would LOVE to have it!!
Way to go team! So glad we could be here to help you with this big project. We are sure you could have done it without us, but we're thankful we were able to speed the process along for you 🙂
So you rehab the trailer and then reattach? Figure it’d be hard to work inside the shell with all that framing.
id pur some tiedowns over the argogy to prevent mmovement by the wind
Well done!
Would you say you are ahead of schedule? Looks like it…
great to have you in the AS family…good job!
Not gonna lie – held my breath during parts of this video. Great job!
Argosy is airstreme I wondered .75 I've had for 30 years want to do it right myself
Great job guys. Are you going to throw some ropes over it and tie it down. Would hate to see a Spring storm ruin all your hard work!
